For Round 6 of the 2007/08 Series a return was made to Tyrepower Parramatta City Raceway. An overcast but dry evening greeted competitors.
Entries
19 entries were received prior to the meeting with 18 appearing in  the programme. 16 cars fronted in the pits, making it the biggest field of Supers for some time at TPCR.
9 of the top 10 in the point score were present with points leader Onley having been given the ok to return after suffering a hand injury in the NSSS. Only Paddy Ward was absent, he being interstate attempting to defending his Victorian Title.

Heats

3 X 8 lap Heats were run.

Heat 1 saw Luke Pyne win off the front row followed by Barklimore and  Onley. A collision in turn 1 saw Smith, Towers, Roberts and Sims involved. Ron Pyne got involved in another incident and was towed back to the pits (Above).
Heat 2 went to Wayne Dick chased by Onley and Sims. Smith was the early leader. Sims was lucky to make  his way back to the pits with a flat front left tyre after the race.
Heat 3 fell to Barklimore with Sims and Brown following. McKeown had led most of the way in this one until falling back. Ron Pyne was again towed to the pits with Renshaw and Barklimore also pushed from the infield.
At the end of the Heats there was much panel damage to be repaired. Ron Pyne was one who did not make it to the Final.
Feature
14 cars faced the starter for the 20 lap Beverlite Glass A Main. Barklimore was pole man with Onley in P2 followed by Sims and Dick.
At the green Onley powered to the lead around Barklimore for the first lap but had a moment on the back straight which allowed the Parkes Pontiac driver to go around him. Dick, Sims, Luke Pyne and a hard driving Smith made up the first 6. Within a short time Sims had a moment which allowed Pyne and Hickey past with Smith baulked by the slowing Sims.

Pyne was now onto Wayne Dick and this battle lasted several laps until Dick pulled a gap on his younger opponent. Barry Towers was involved in a skirmish in T2 and hit the inside wall. Red lights were called for and an Ambulance attended. Towers extracted himself from the car.
The restart saw Barklimore keep his lead from Onley but Dick was passed by Pyne and hit in the rear by Hickey. A couple of laps later the leader’s right front wheel departed from his car in front of the Pits.
A close formation restart followed with Pyne very close on Onley’s tail. They ran this way for most of the remaining laps with Pyne getting his nose half way up the Mustangs body work on several occasions but not having the goods to get in front. Hickey worked his way into 3rd a couple of laps after the last restart.
8 cars crossed to line at the chequered flag, Onley taking his first Feature win at Parramatta and his 3rd for the Series. A number of cars were sporting damage from the close running, in particular Sims who was missing some side panelling.
