Remarks
While in the lower part of the North Island of New Zealand in July 2010 I came across this stand of trees by the side of the road. The combination of the bare trees, steep hillside, and stark winter weather gave a sense of almost impenetrable depth to this copse. I've tried to provide a level of detail that does the scene justice but I'm not sure I've succeeded.
