Remarks
A collection of old wood and tin buildings comprises the old Coolamine homestead in the Snowy mountains.
These old buildings have (reasonably) recently been sympathetically
restored as testament to an important part of Australia's pastoral history. Miles from
anywhere with no electricity, no television, and possibly snowed in for considerable periods
of time, pastoral runs such as these provided the foundations of the modern Australian economy.
For some reason I was drawn to the weathered wood of this louvre window.
