Restricted Sedan Association - Australian Street Stock Title. Tyrepower Parramatta City Raceway May 6th, 2006.
To the winner the spoils - Bryan Mackney 2006 RSA champ.

A Main action - Elliott leads O'Neill and Bink

A car count of almost 50 ensured plenty of action at the 2006 edition of the RSA Australian Street Stock title held at TPCR. Good weather ensured an excellent nights racing with Bryan Mackney (left) crossing the line first in the 30 lap final.

First to Third
Bryan Mackney - North Coast Trimming Torana #NSW1. 2nd Heat 3, 4th Heat 6, 1st Heat 9. 1st 2006 RSA Australian Street Stock Title. Mackney's night kept improving with solid placings in his first two heats and a win in his third. The recently crowned NSWs champion learnt the track quickly and in the final moved to the front by the end of the first lap, where he stayed till the end. His lap times improved from a 22.3060 in heat 3 to a best of 19.3310 in the final.
Glen Mitchell - Picton Hire Falcon #41. 2nd Heat 2, 1st Heat 4, 4th Heat 7, 2nd 2006 RSA Australian Street Stock Title. Mitchell's title race was a true guide of form on the night. He crossed the line at the end of lap 1 in 4th, then passed Stephenson to move into 3rd. On lap 10 he passed Hopwood to take 2nd. Mackney however was just too good on the night and the Ford driver had to settle for 2nd with some engine worries towards the end.
Nigel O'Neill - Portland Automotive Falcon #9. 1st Heat 6, 3rd Heat 9, 3rd 2006 RSA Australian Street Stock Title. Dispite only running two heats O'Neill was able to move into the Final. He had an up and down title race being 6th at the end of lap 1, then falling back to 10th on lap 7. He then fought his way back to 4th on the second last lap and then passed Elliott by the smallest of margines on the line to take 3rd.
