For the second year running The Sydney Street Stockers hosted the RSA national title at Tyrepower Parramatta Raceway. 52 nominations fronted for the title meeting, which carried over $7,000 in total prizemoney for the grass roots sedan division.

Local track champion Tim Bink crossed the line first in the 35 lap title race followed by Ray Healey and Robbie Swain. A collision on lap 20 between

then leader Bryan Mackney and Healey resulted in Healey rejoining behind Bink and Mackney stopping on the inside of the track. Officials then ruled that Mackney caused the stoppage and sent him Rear Of Field.

Mackney circulated for several more laps before retiring to the pits. Healey had the faster car but could not find a way past Bink's EFI Falcon. Bink was ecstatic with his win, performing several doughnuts in front of the grandstand in celebration.

First Three
Tim Bink - EFI Spares Falcon #8. 1st Heat 3, 8th H6, 2nd H9. 1st 2007 RSA Street Stock Title. After a number of attempts Tim Bink finally scored his first RSA title. The win capped a year of highs and lows, the other high being winning the TPCR championship and the low being the controversy over publicly airing his opinion on track time for support divisions at the track. Fastest lap of the night: 18.796 lap 6, Heat 9.
Ray Healey - Portland Automotive Falcon #29. 11th Heat 1, 1st H4, 2nd H7. Healey would probably consider this the one that got away. Starting from 3rd in the final he was looking a definite chance until a collision with Mackney whilst attempting an inside pass damaged his steering. He fought on to harass Bink for the win but couldn't pull off a pass. Fastest lap of the night: 18.977 lap 6, Heat 7.
Robbie Swain - Tyrepower Kingswood Commodore #34. 4th Heat 1, 11th H4, 1st H7. Swain's title night was off to a good start in the first heat with a move from 9th to 4th. Pole position in Heat 7 allowed him to post a win over a faster Ray Healey. He converted a 7th starting spot in the A Main to a podium finish, crossing the line some 5 seconds behind Healey. Fastest lap of the night: 19.320 lap 2, Heat 7.

Hard Luck
The hard luck story of the night would belong to Glenn Mitchell. The 2006 runner up was looking a chance starting from the front row. He jumped to the lead at the start with Bink and Healey following. The first yellow came on at the start of the second lap when Nigel O'Neill spun with a flat tyre. Mitchell comfortably lead the field at the restart and until the next caution when Glen Hoogwaerts came to a stop in Turn 2. At the restart Mitchell ran wide and slowed with the entire field streaming past. He'd suffered a rear puncture caused by some debris on the track, it was the end of his race.
